Camilla Marcondes
United States of America (US)
I was born in the architectural scene, profession of my parents, but graduated in Industrial Design. I ventured in the areas of decoration, landscaping and floral design, to meet the world of jewelry, not by chance, but by a personal need of great pieces, with a differentiated design. At that time, it was already possible to find jewelry (gold) signed by big contemporary designers, but costume jewelry however, only the trinket of popular markets and the full of artificial gems and brilliance, unsuccessfully, imitated jewelry. Therefore, I began designing and making my own pieces. Registered myself at basic and advanced jewelry courses. Before even graduating, I was already supplying accessories for big fashion brands and designers of Rio de Janeiro.
View ProfileEleonora Federici
Italy (IT)
Eleonora lives by the inspirational words of Henri Matisse, “creativity takes courage.” Fascinated by the Arts and Nature, she believes that Design can express the beauty of the human soul. But to do so, an artist must be brave and bold enough to show it to the world. This belief began for Eleonora at a very young age. She grew up at “Gioielleria Marinone” (Pavia, Italy), the jewelry store founded by her parents Anna Maria and Daniele in 1980. She spent years surrounded by love and encouragement in an environment rich in inspiration and creativity. There, she learned and improved her skills, and her lifelong passion for precious stones was born. After graduating with honors in Modern Literature with a focus in Modern Art, Eleonora moved to Milan to further pursue her passion for art and jewels. She studied Gemology at the “Istituto Gemmologico Italiano,” of which she is a member. She is also a member of the “Associazione Italiana Gemmologi” (the only Institution recognized by the Italian government.). Her continued curiosity and love for jewelry led her to first learn how to create models by carving the wax by hand, and then to later also acquire bench jewelry skills. In 2021, Eleonora moved to Carlsbad (California, USA) where she completed the Jewelry Design & Technology Program at the world-renowned Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Incorporating the most advanced, cutting-edge technologies in design and manufacturing, Eleonora provides clients with superior technical expertise and practical skills, while also preserving the ties to classic Italian handcrafting traditions. Her designs reflect a beautiful balance of history, craftsmanship and state-of-the art techniques. Eleonora has spent years honing her skills and her artistry has flourished. She has the confidence to boldly express her creativity through her work. She is firmly dedicated to quality and the creation of unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that are true, wearable pieces of art.

China (CN)
I wore several hats for many years: managing my own design agency, doing business development and being the creative director behind each projects, mentoring and training my team while improving my own skills. I served different clients: from luxury power houses to technology start-ups to large scale government funded projects. Very different, and yet very similar: one common denominator during all these years was the need of being creative within a defined budget and, usually tight, time frame. Controlling budget and timeline while being creative is a challenging position where I excel. Since 2016, I also had one foot in the Academic world, supervising the Industrial and Strategic Design section at SIVA (Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts). I worked closely with university to define the design curriculum and organize their teaching content. After 6 years with the university, I felt the need for new challenges and I decided to go back fully into the professional world. In 2018, I launched my own watch brand where I’m fulfilling my needs to design high-quality products and to implement long term brand vision. In 2021, I merged my agency to set-up a new company providing holistic design services: WY&P.

Moon’s aesthetic focus on the dichotomy between beauty and ugliness is an invaluable asset of her own visual vocabulary as a designer. The massive size and weight of black with cute elements such as a flowers, bows, and ruffles create the tensions of contrasts and emphasize the aesthetic of massive minimalism as well as the cuteness in ugly ways.
