Pavit graduated from the renowned Gemological Institute of America, New York in 2015. She has won many awards in the US (the prestigious Saul Bell Design Awards) and India (IJ Jeweller’s Choice Design Awards) for her designs and aspires to continue this trend. Her designs were also chosen to be featured amongst the ‘The Contemporary Jewel as never seen before’ by Artistar Jewels, Milan for the Milan Jewelry Week.  She is a perfectionist and all her pieces are curated with utmost attention to detail. She takes inspiration from nature, architecture and her travels and is also a certified scuba diver. Her goal is to not only design one of a kind, trendsetting jewelry, but also to educate people about various gemstones.  Pavit Gujral aims to create pieces that are extravagant, handcrafted with passion and creativity, and made using the best grade of gemstones. Paloma Sanchez

Paloma Sanchez is a GIA gemologist with over 25 years of experience in the global luxury jewelry business working for brands such as Carrera y Carrera, Hublot, Cuervo & Sobrinos, and Patek Philippe. In 2008, Paloma Sanchez opened her own jewelry atelier in Beijing where she still resides. She spends most of her time hunting for gemstones worldwide and designing tailored-made jewelry pieces for Asia's finest. The designer´s gallery has been regularly featured in Louis Vuitton and Mercedes´ Beijing City guides. She has been recognized as one of the world´s best jewelry designers at Basel Watch and Jewelry fair´s Livre Unique. She has been awarded multiple design prizes such as the 2019 biennial Opal Design Award in Lightning Ridge, Australia. Ms. Paloma is a guest professor and head of the Design department at Guanghua Institute of Gemmology and Mineral Resources of Jiangxi University of Applied Sciences and is regularly invited as a speaker to the Beijing Central Academy of Fine Arts and to the Gems and Jewelry Association of China. Paloma Sanchez sits on the board of the China New Couture Committee as the only non-Chinese founding member. She has also been a jury in several design and jewelry contests sponsored among others by the World Gold Council, Shanghai Diamond Exchange, Natural Diamond Council, and International Coloured Gemstone Association, such as the 2020 World Pearl Development conference in Zhuji (China), and 2022 Global Gems and Jewelry Development Conference in Hainan (China).

Begum Karadag, the founder of Buruz, is an interior designer. The city where her father was born is home to a geographically indicated hand-woven art in Turkey. However, this unique weaving art was on the verge of extinction. Aiming to revive this art that had been forgotten in the depths of chests, Begüm Karadağ founded the brand Buruz, which means "to bring to light" in Old Turkish. Buruz Design brings a centuries-old art to the forefront while using sustainable materials. The wool yarns used in its products are dyed entirely with plants such as acorns and walnuts. The looms are made of oak and are not electric. While production is entirely traditional, the designs are created with modern homes in mind. Beyond preserving the craft, Buruz empowers local women.Begum Karadag, saw graduates from vocational weaving courses struggling to find jobs. By employing these women in her workshop, Buruz provides financial independence and social security for those who previously had none job.
